How It Works

YOUR AGENCY INTERVIEW

Upon arriving for your interview, you will be introduced to the Placement Coordinator. The Placement Coordinator plays a crucial role in working directly with the families and assessing which candidates are most suitable for each position.

AGENCY EVALUATION

Evaluating with a Placement Coordinator marks the pivotal initial step towards becoming an approved Kensington Nanny. This comprehensive assessment involves various direct and indirect criteria, all aimed at gaining a holistic understanding of your profile to ensure a seamless placement process.

LATE ARRIVALS

Late arrivals will not be considered for interviews. Kindly ensure that you check in at least 5 minutes before your scheduled interview time. If you anticipate being late, please contact the office at 561-923-0856. Please note that failure to notify us in advance may result in the cancellation of the interview. Depending on our schedule, we may need to reschedule if all slots are filled. Thank you for your cooperation.

AGENCY DECISION

Our agency employs a structured interview process to provide each candidate with fair and unbiased consideration. However, only chosen individuals are extended invitations to register with us. Expect to receive a decision via email within 1-2 days following your interview.

BACKGROUND AND INVESTIGATION

Upon the agency’s decision to progress to the next stage after your interview, we will initiate a thorough investigation into your background, references, and social media. Please note that interviewing with a family is contingent on reaching all your references. Delay in your placement eligibility may occur if any reference fails to respond to our inquiries.

How to Get Hired

DISCUSSING A JOB WITH THE CLIENT COORDINATOR

If you see a suitable job on the jobs page, we are happy to discuss the job in detail and provide ample opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have.

ACCEPTING A FAMILY JOB INTERVIEW

When you apply to a job you can speak to a Client Coordinator to discuss the details to determine if the job is right for you. You always have the option of accepting or declining the job interview. However, we encourage you to go on all the interviews you’re offered. You never know it could be your dream job!

AFTER THE FAMILY INTERVIEW

Following your interview with the family, we value your feedback. If the family intends to extend a job offer, the agency will contact you with the details. Upon accepting the offer, you will receive a written work agreement outlining the job specifics.

It is important to note that you are not permitted to communicate with the family after the interview without written authorization from the agency. For your convenience, the agency handles all communication with the family on your behalf until you are officially hired.

ONCE YOU ARE HIRED

Upon being hired by the family, they assume the role of your employer, encompassing responsibilities such as daily communication, scheduling, payment, time-off, performance reviews, and more. If you ever require assistance or guidance, please don’t hesitate to contact the agency, as we are here to provide support.

We’re looking forward to meeting you!!

We are happy to answer any questions you have prior to your appointment. Please call or text the office at 561-923-0856.
