- Monday to Friday, 11am to 4pm or 5pm.
- Must be available to start earlier or stay later as needed.
- Occasional date nights and weekends may be requested, sometimes every other Saturday is needed.
- 20-30 hours per week
- Travel Requested: Ideally the family would love the nanny to be available for short-term travel, only up to 1 week. Mainly within the US, occasionally outside the US.
Job Description
An active family is in search of a Part-Time Nanny to provide nurturing care for their newborn baby, expected mid-May, while also being available to assist with their energetic 7-year-old son when needed. Mom handles school pickups. The family is seeking a dependable and flexible nanny who can adjust to slight schedule fluctuations and is available to travel domestically and occasionally internationally for up to one week at a time.
The ideal nanny is kind, caring, and attentive, with experience caring for both newborns and school-age children. A nurturing approach, positive energy, and strong communication are essential for success in this role.
Duties:
- Provide attentive and loving care for the newborn baby. Support feeding, naptime routines, and general care needs.
- Occasionally care for the 7-year-old, primarily during school breaks or when assistance is needed after school.
- Assist with light housekeeping related to the children (tidying play areas, loading/unloading dishwasher, folding laundry, etc.)
- Collaborate with parents, providing an extra set of hands and reliable support.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging environment for the children.
