Job Description
A work-from-home family is seeking a full-time nanny to provide dedicated care for their infant, who is experiencing feeding challenges due to tongue tie and reflux. The nanny will play a vital role in ensuring the baby’s comfort, following a special feeding method, e.g. keeping the baby upright for 30 minutes post-feedings. In addition to maintaining a structured routine, the nanny will engage the baby in age-appropriate activities, support developmental milestones, and ensure a clean and organized environment. While the mother works from home, the nanny will be expected to work independently, prioritizing the baby’s care and enrichment.
The ideal nanny is gentle, loving, and knowledgeable about infant care, with lots of experience working with both infants and toddlers. Spanish-speaking is preferred but not required.
Duties:
- Follow a specialized feeding method and keep the baby upright for 30 minutes post-feedings to manage reflux.
- Provide age-appropriate stimulation, including playtime, tummy time, and walks.
- Maintain the baby’s nursery, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
- Handle all baby-related tasks, including laundry and sanitizing bottles.
- Work independently, adhering to the baby’s established schedule.
- Focus on the baby’s care and enrichment, ensuring a nurturing and stimulating environment.
Start Date
Ideally March 26, 2025. The family is flexible for a later start if needed.
