Job Description
A warm and active family is seeking a Part-time Nanny to care for their two young children, a 4-month-old baby and an 18-month-old toddler with hearing loss. The family is teaching their toddler American Sign Language (ASL) and values a Montessori-inspired approach that fosters independence, creativity, and emotional regulation.
The ideal nanny is playful, engaging, and organized, with a passion for child development and learning. Fluency in ASL is highly preferred. A love for dogs is a plus, as is a nanny who enjoys spending time outdoors.
Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive care for both children, including feeding, dressing, diapering, and bathing the infant.
- Engage in interactive and educational play that supports developmental milestones and language growth, with a Montessori-inspired approach.
- Maintain a tidy and organized environment, including light household support related to the children, assist with dishes and general tidying up.
- Manage children’s laundry and prepare simple meals for the toddler when needed.
