Full-time Nanny Job in Boca Raton, #1625

Job Description

Busy Family is seeking a nurturing and energetic Full-time Nanny to care for their newborn plus assist with their two older children, 4.5 and 3 years old, who attend school Monday through Friday. The family is excited to welcome their new baby in April. The primary responsibility will be caring for the newborn during the day, along with engaging with the older children in the afternoons and assisting mom when she gets home from work around 4pm. This role also includes light housekeeping and occasional school pick-ups. (Vehicle provided if needed.)

The ideal nanny is experienced, youthful or young at heart, physically active, and able to keep up with 3 young children. This person should be friendly, personable, and comfortable engaging in various activities with the kids. Prior experience with 3-child households is preferred but not required. 

Responsibilities:

• Provide primary care for the newborn, including feedings, bathing, tummy time, walks, and age-appropriate activities at home or in classes as baby grows.
• Engage with older children after school, including playtime, snacks, and occasional activities (especially when mom wants to be with baby after work.) 
• Help the family prepare meals and snacks for the children.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as child-related cleaning, dishes, assist with family laundry, wiping counters, sanitizing baby bottles. (Only light housekeeping, family also employs a housekeeper.)
• Occasionally assist with school pick-up or drop-off (vehicle provided, if needed).
• Help with bath time and bedtime routines.
• Collaborate with mom for childcare when she gets home around 4pm.
