Agreement

Please contact us if you would like a copy of your signed agreement emailed to you.

This agreement outlines the expectations for nannies working with My Kensington Nanny. By signing below, nannies acknowledge their understanding and acceptance of the agency’s policies. Please carefully read and sign to accept the following guidelines.

  1. Prior Authorization: Nannies must obtain written permission before accepting work with a Kensington family. Nannies agree to communicate with Kensington families only with explicit written consent. In the event that a client contacts the nanny in any manner, the nanny must immediately notify the agency and request that the family contact the agency directly.

  2. Agency Representation: Nannies understand that they act as representatives of the family when working with My Kensington Nanny. As such, nannies shall maintain ethical, kind, and professional conduct, including prompt communication with the agency.

  3. Work Approval: Before commencing any job, nannies will receive written approval via a work contract, email, or text. Working for a Kensington client without obtaining proper approval will result in a fine equivalent to the current placement fee. However, nannies who obtain written approval from the agency before working with a Kensington family will not be subject to any charges.

  4. Commitment to Long-term Positions: When accepting a long-term position, nannies are expected to commit to working with the family for a minimum of one (1) year. In the event that the family reduces the nanny’s hours or pay or if the family (parents or children) mistreats the nanny, the nanny must immediately contact the agency. The agency will assess the situation and provide necessary assistance. If the issues cannot be resolved, the nanny is not obliged to continue working with the family.

  5. Babysitting and Temporary Assignments: Nannies who undertake babysitting jobs or temporary assignments lasting less than one year must suspend their employment with the family until reauthorization is obtained. Returning to work without proper authorization will result in a penalty of one hundred dollars ($100) per day.

Per the nanny’s signed Agreement on file with the agency, the nanny acknowledges and accepts the terms and conditions outlined in the Kensington Nanny Agency placement guidelines.

Contract Jurisdiction: This contract is governed by the laws of the State of Florida, and all provisions will be administered and determined under the laws of the State of Florida, without considering any conflicts or choice of law issues.
