Private Housekeeper Part-time

Location: West Palm Beach, FL

Schedule: 1–2 days per week, (up to 15 hours per week)

Pay: Based on salary history and experience

Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented housekeeper to support the cleaning and upkeep of a 3-bedroom, 4-bathroom home (~3,600 sq ft) in West Palm Beach. The ideal candidate is thorough, knowledgeable about proper cleaning techniques, and takes pride in maintaining a clean and organized home.

Responsibilities:

• Clean bathrooms, kitchen, floors, baseboards, and surfaces

• Vacuum and mop (must know proper cleaning methods for tile vs. wood floors)

• Clean inside the microwave, refrigerator, and oven as needed

• Laundry care, including sorting by color/fabric, stain treatment, and ironing

• Change bed linens and manage household laundry rotation

• Dusting (using appropriate methods: spray vs. dry duster)

• Occasional organizational help

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of cleaning products and what is safe for specific surfaces (e.g., tile, wood, granite)

• Knowledge of best practices for:

  • Cleaning various flooring types

  • Laundry temperatures for whites, darks, and colors

  • Treating stains and handling delicate fabrics

  • Ironing garments and linens

• Experience cleaning high-end or large homes is a plus

• Must be dependable, discreet, and efficient

• English-speaking household; fluency not required

• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
