Job Description
A busy working professional family is seeking a nurturing and experienced Part-time Afternoon Nanny to provide attentive care for their two children, ages 8 months and 7 years. While the 7-year-old is typically in school during the day, primary care will be focused on the baby. This role requires a dependable nanny who can create a safe, engaging, and loving environment for the baby while supporting the family’s daily routine.
The ideal nanny is motherly, experienced, and reliable, who enjoys working with infants and thrives in a family-oriented setting.
Responsibilities:
- Provide nurturing, hands-on care for the 8-month-old baby, including bottle feeding, meal prep for the baby, diaper changes, and maintaining a consistent nap schedule.
- Support the 7-year-old child after school as needed, helping with homework.
- Engage baby in age-appropriate play, activities, and developmental milestones.
- Maintain baby’s feeding, diapering, and nap schedule.
- Assist with child-related household tasks, including tidying play areas, washing bottles, dishes, and children’s laundry.
