- Travel Required: Family summers in Toronto, Canada for 2-3 months. Also, the family goes on occasional trips throughout the year, typically between 4-10 days at a time. Passport required.
Job Description
A busy family is seeking a loving, experienced Mother’s Helper Nanny to provide holistic support across household and childcare responsibilities. The role involves assisting mom and provide an engaging environment for their baby. Travel with the family is required, with live-in arrangements over the summer.
The ideal nanny is mature, loving, can create a warm and nurturing atmosphere, and very experienced with infants. Spanish-speaking candidates are preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive, loving care to their baby, supporting age-appropriate developmental activities and milestones.
- Engage baby in playful activities, such as singing and games, while maintaining a quiet environment when parents work from home.
- Assist mom with meal prep and light cooking for the family. Includes preparing simple meals, unpack groceries, wash and prepare fruits and vegetables before storing in the fridge.
- Perform light housekeeping such as dishes, organizing, and family laundry, maintaining a tidy and well-organized home. (Family has a deep cleaner that comes once a week.)
- Run occasionally errands such as grocery shopping, package returns, and other family needs if mom cannot.
