- 43-45 hours per week
- Travel Required: Family spends 8 weeks in the Hamptons every summer. Nanny will live with them in their large summer home, private bedroom with ensuite bathroom on separate side.
Job Description
A busy, professional family is seeking an experienced and nurturing full-time nanny to provide personalized care for a 4-year-old child. This is a long-term position for someone who is excited to become part of the family for years to come. The role requires creating a consistent routine and support the child’s development in a safe and structured environment, while fostering emotional growth and independence through engaging activities.
The ideal nanny is highly experienced, kind-hearted, and has a gentle and patient personality. A great sense of humor, a caring nature, and strong professional boundaries are essential.
Responsibilities:
- Provide nurturing care for a 4-year-old child, including feeding, dressing, and bathing.
- Plan and engage in fun, engaging and developmentally appropriate activities that stimulate learning.
- Use positive reinforcement and patience to help manage emotional regulation, including offering comfort and reassurance during overwhelming situations.
- Create and maintain a structured daily routine that helps their 4-year-old feel safe and secure, including scheduled relaxation time.
- Prepare meals and snacks for child.
- Safely transport the child to and from school, the park, and activities. (Gas stipend provided)
