Job Description
A loving and engaged family (two dads!) is seeking a dedicated, Full-time Nanny to assist a stay-at-home dad (SAHD) in caring for their toddler and soon-to-arrive newborn. This long-term role is ideal for a nurturing and energetic caregiver with extensive experience in newborn and toddler care. The family prioritizes early childhood learning, socialization, and developmental milestones and is looking for a proactive and organized nanny to support these goals.
Regarding the unique schedule request, the father is a dentist and has to leave home really early in the morning. So ideally someone that can help SAHD early would be amazing! But it’s not required. They can be flexible on schedule for the right nanny.
The ideal nanny is extroverted, Spanish-speaking, and highly interactive, with a strong ability to engage children in meaningful activities that promote language development, creativity, and social skills.
Duties:
- Provide attentive and loving care for a toddler and newborn, maintaining consistent daily routines, including feeding, naps, and diaper changes.
- Foster early learning and socialization through engaging activities and play. Speak Spanish to the children to help them learn.
- Handle child-related laundry and cleaning. Keep children’s areas clean, organized, and tidy.
- Work collaboratively with the stay-at-home dad to ensure a smooth daily routine.
- Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the toddler. Cleaning up after meals. Preparing and sanitizing bottles for the newborn.
Start Date
Ideally May 1, 2025. The family is flexible for an earlier/later start if needed.
