Job Description

A loving and active family (both doctors!) is seeking an active Full-time Nanny to care for their two children, ages 5 and 2. This role involves creating a fun, structured, and engaging environment while assisting with school pick-ups, activities, and daily routines. The nanny will play a key role in fostering creativity, learning, and outdoor play, with a special focus on swimming, as both children love the water. A long-term commitment is preferred, as the family hopes to build a lasting relationship with their nanny. Their 5 year old is in school full-time. The home is a busy, lived-in space with a lot going on. 

The ideal candidate is extroverted, engaging, and playful, with a natural ability to make learning fun. A strong swimmer is essential, as swimming is a big part of the children’s routine. A caring and nurturing approach, combined with a love for teaching and creativity, will be a great fit for this role.

Duties:

• Plan and engage the children in age-appropriate activities, including arts and crafts, storytime, and outdoor play.
• Encourage learning and development through interactive play and hands-on activities.
• Foster a loving and secure environment while promoting confidence and independence.
• Prepare meals for the children, including helping pack lunches for the next day. 
• Supervise and swim with the children in the family’s pool. 
• Maintain a clean and organized environment for the children, tidying up after activities and meals.
• Provide transportation for school pick-ups, activities, and outings. (Vehicle provided)
• Assist with occasional grocery shopping and running errands as needed.
• Light housekeeping such as tidying common areas, dishes, children’s laundry, keeping home tidy and organized.
