Job Description
A loving family is seeking a dedicated and experienced full-time nanny to provide attentive and nurturing care for their infant. The nanny will be responsible for supporting the baby’s daily routine, ensuring a safe and engaging environment, and assisting with developmental milestones. The parents are hands-on and value a nanny who can provide excellent care while respecting their involvement, particularly during feeding times. This is a long-term position, offering the opportunity to transition from infant care into the toddler years and beyond.
The ideal nanny is gentle, kind, loving, and patient, with a mature and experienced approach to infant and toddler care. A strong understanding of infant development, milestone progression, and age-appropriate activities is essential.
Duties:
- Provide attentive care, ensuring the baby’s safety and well-being at all times.
- Feed the baby when a parent is unavailable, following the family’s approach to nutrition and mealtime routines.
- Change diapers, manage nap schedules, and attend to the baby upon waking.
- Engage in interactive play, tummy time, and activities that support early developmental milestones.
- Maintain a structured environment with very limited screen time, prioritizing reading and healthy habits.
- Support and monitor the baby’s growth while collaborating with parents on milestone development.
- Perform light household tasks related to the baby, including tidying the nursery, sanitizing bottles, and managing baby laundry. Assistance with dishes when you have time would be much appreciated.
