Job Description

A dedicated and experienced Afterschool Nanny is needed for a family on Fisher Island. This role involves caring for two young children, ages 5 and 3. The nanny will play a key role school pick ups, taking to activities, and handling the evening routine with the children. This position requires someone who is responsible, organized, and able to keep the children’s routine and activities on schedule. 

This is a fully staffed home.  

The ideal nanny is an extroverted and proactive individual who enjoys working collaboratively within a team. They should be firm but fair in disciplining, easygoing, and fluent in both Spanish and English.

Responsibilities:

• Provide nurturing care for both children that supports their interests, manners, and emotional development.
• Picking up the children from school and taking to/from extracurriculars and activities. 
• Provide dinner to the children and handle the evening and bedtime routine. 
• Child-related housekeeping, including tidying children’s bedrooms, bathrooms, and play areas, and sterilizing surfaces and toys.
• Running errands for the children and managing child-related supplies purchases.
