Job Description
A loving family is seeking a dedicated Part-time Toddler Nanny to care for their 17-month-old. The nanny will play a key role in supporting the toddler’s growth and development. The family follows a “lead by example” approach to parenting, modeling positive behavior. The nanny should create development-focused activities such as art and crafts, practicing numbers, letters, and colors, and other enriching activities to help the toddler prepare for school. The family is not planning on putting their toddler in VPK or daycare.
The ideal nanny is playful and loving, fostering a positive and encouraging atmosphere. Nannies who have worked as a teacher or teaching assistant, or who have experience in early childhood education are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive care for their 17-month-old toddler, supporting milestones through play, reading, and hands-on activities.
- Maintain consistent meal, nap, and hygiene routines, adapting as they grow.
- Plan and lead engaging activities, playtime, and reading sessions to promote development and engagement. (The child is screen-free and does not use devices.)
- Assist with preparing meals and snacks for the child, organizing the play areas, and tidying child’s spaces.
