- 40-45 hours per week
- Plus occasional date nights, weekends, and overnights.
- Travel Required: Trips ranging 1-3 weeks at a time, a few times a year. The family also travels for 1-3 months in the summer and ideally wants the nanny to come with them, not required. Travel is both domestic and international.
Job Description
A growing family in Fort Lauderdale is seeking an experienced Full-time Mother’s Helper Nanny to provide loving care for their infant and 7-year-old child. The stay-at-home mom loves to spend time with their new baby but she needs help! This position involves creating a nurturing environment that promotes growth and development for both children while offering essential support to the family.
The ideal candidate is warm, reliable, and has experience caring for children of all ages. Second language fluency is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Work alongside stay-at-home-mom to provide attentive care to both children, establishing routines and engaging in developmentally appropriate activities.
- Engage in age-appropriate activities with baby to promote cognitive and physical development likes walks and reading. Do educational and creative activities with the 7-year-old, including arts and crafts and outdoor play.
- Prepare snacks and meals for the children.
- Drive children to school, activities, and appointments. Plus running occasional errands as needed. (optional, own vehicle preferred).
- Maintain a tidy and organized environment for the children, including cleaning up play areas, cleaning bottles, and managing the children’s laundry.
- Assist with daily clean up such as dishes, laundry, and general tidying and organization. (This is a mother’s helper role.)
