Job Description
A loving family is seeking a dependable and experienced Part-time Afterschool Nanny to care for their school-aged children. This role involves providing structured and engaging care during the afternoon and early evening hours, including school pick-ups, activity supervision, homework help, meal preparation, and household tasks related to the children.
The ideal nanny is a great communicator, reliable, and nurturing, with experience working with school-aged children and a commitment to creating a fun, safe, and organized environment. Nannies with 3-5 years of experience are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Safely pick up children from school or afterschool activities. (Gas stipend provided.)
- Supervise and engage children in afterschool activities such as homework, reading, arts and crafts, and relaxation time.
- Prepare dinner for the children and pack lunches for the following day.
- Tidy and organize children’s spaces, including toys, drawers, and common areas.
- Complete children’s laundry, including washing, folding, and changing sheets as needed.
- Communicate regularly and effectively with parents about daily activities and any updates.
