First-time parents are seeking an experienced Overnight Baby Nurse/Newborn Care Specialist to care for their 4-week-old infant. This position will focus on establishing a consistent sleep schedule, providing expert newborn care, and supporting the parents during the nighttime hours. The role will officially begin on November 1st, but the family would like the candidate to work 1-2 nights per week leading up to the start date to become familiar with their routine and baby.

The ideal Baby Nurse will have extensive experience with newborns, including sleep training and establishing routines, and should be patient, nurturing, and skilled at supporting breastfeeding mothers. Must be up-to-date on your immunizations.

Responsibilities:

• Provide overnight care for a 4-week-old infant, including diaper changes, feedings, and soothing.
• Implement sleep training techniques and establish a consistent sleep schedule for the baby.
• Handle all baby-related tidying, including the nursery, sanitizing bottles, and baby’s laundry.
• Bathe the baby and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Offer guidance on newborn care and support for the family during this transition phase.
